How do I get the full text of nursing journal articles?
Answer
You found the perfect journal article in CINAHL or another database—how do you get the full text?
The library subscribes to databases (like CINAHL, the database of choice for nursing students) through which we provide full text access to hundreds of nursing journals (as well as other journals), available to you free of charge. If an article is available in full text, you'll see an option to click on the PDF or HTML full text, or choose the green Find It @ TC3 icon, to get access to the full text.
If the library doesn't have the full text of an article, you can order it at no charge to you. Most articles arrive within a couple of days; you'll be notified if we are unable to get the article, and you can work with a librarian to identify alternate resources.
