Is there a list of controversial topics? I have to write an argument paper/speech.

The library has a couple of excellent databases for researching controversial topics:
- Opposing Viewpoints in Context
- Go to the Browse Issues page for all the topics covered
- Points of View Reference Center
- Scroll down below the search box to Explore topics.
These databases contain numerous articles and other resources on each topic.
Click on the topic to get:
- a background essay that gives a topic overview
- articles that argue particular perspectives
- scholarly articles
- data
- news sources
- and more
Look for the Cite, Print and Save options on each article to store your sources and be able to reference them in your bibliography.
