How does online tutoring work? Is it like in-person tutoring?

BCL Online Tutoring is a free service for TC3 students that's held in Microsoft Teams. Teams allows us to meet using video, voice or chat.

It's not exactly like meeting in person, but in Microsoft Teams we can talk or chat and share our screen and collaborate in real time. We try to make tutoring online as easy and as helpful as tutoring in-person.

When you want to work with a tutor, go to the team BCL Online Tutoring.
- Sign in with your usual TC3 username and password.
Post a message in the general chat. Something like, "I have a question about..."
Someone will respond to you and go over our online tutoring policies and then connect you with a tutor.
- Be sure to have information about your assignment and your questions ready.
