Where's the information about activating my newspaper accounts?
Answer
Each of us has to activate our accounts with the following newspapers to use the library's subscriptions to them.
The New York Times (NYTimes.com)
Go to accessnyt.com.
In Find School, start typing Tompkins Cortland... and select SUNY Tompkins Cortland County Community College - Dryden NY.
If you are on campus, click the link.
If you are off campus, click the Go button and sign in with your usual TC3 username (usually your initials followed by three numbers) and password
Use your TC3 email address to create your NYT account. Remember that student emails end with @mymail.tc3.edu
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ.com)
Go to wsj.com/TompkinsCortland
Enter your usual TC3 username (usually your initials followed by three numbers) and password.
Then create your WSJ logon.
The email address you use does not have to be your TC3 one, but if you do use your student email, remember it ends with @mymail.tc3.edu
Don't worry if you're not sure about your graduation date, you'll be asked roughly once per year to confirm that you're still affiliated with TC3. As long as you have a TC3 username and password, you'll be able to access the Wall Street Journal.
The Washington Post (washingtonpost.com)
Go to washingtonpost.com
You may have to click Sign In first, but enter your full TC3 email address when you are prompted and click Next.
Remember: student email addresses end in @mymail.tc3.edu.
Create a Password, following the guidelines on the screen.
Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Click Create account.
Check your TC3 email for a message from the Washington Post.
Click on the button in the message to Activate your digital access
