Your teachers may recommend that you use the APA style information from Purdue Online Writing Lab--or Purdue OWL for short. Purdue OWL is a well-known and reputable source of online resources for citation help. Purdue OWL is frequently used by the TC3 nursing program, librarians, and writing tutors.

The webpages there provide guidance and examples for general formatting and to help you with your in-text citations and reference list. Let's say you used a book written by three authors. The basic format for books is provided on the Reference List: Books page. You may need to consult the Reference List: Author/Authors page, in the section "Three to twenty authors" for guidance about how to list the book's three authors. For help with your in-text citation(s) for this book, you might consult the In-text Citations: Author/Authors page, in the section "A work by three or more authors."
