Getting Started: Basic and Background Information
- Find context and overviews, as well as biographical and critical, analytical information in the Library's collection of specialized academic encyclopedias about literature.
- Type in the title of the work, or the author's name, or a genre or a theme.
- The whole article will be in there.
- Click Cite to get an MLA-formatted citation.

- Find articles of literary criticism, from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals, by searching the three databases MLA Bibliography, Humanities Source and Literary Reference Center Plus all at once.
