How can I look through your bookshelves from home?

Answer

Books are on the shelves by their topic, and if you want to look through the books that are near each other you can do that even when the library is closed.  There are a few different ways.

First, if we already have a book that you know is useful, you can see what is on our shelves next to it.

1.  Look the book up in the Library's catalog, OneSearch.

2.  Scroll to the bottom and you'll see the Virtual Browse area.  Use the forward and back arrows to see what's nearby.

Another way, if you are not starting with a book you already know about, is to:

1.  Go to the Library's catalog, OneSearch.

2.  In the horizontal menu bar across the top of the screen, click Browse.

3. In my example below, I am browsing on the Subject vaccines, but you could also browse by Author (type in the last name, first), for example.

I could click on vaccines and then scroll through the list of books and videos, both in print and online, that we have on the topic.
