Can I study in the library? Are there quiet study areas or group study rooms?

Answer

Yes!  The library is open to students, staff and visitors.  See the Hours page for our schedule.

Quiet Study

Try the back of the library on the second floor (past the signs marked "Quiet Zone"), or go "under the stairs" on the first floor (in the Access & Equity area).

Group Study

The library has several study rooms for small groups to work together or for individuals who want fewer distractions.

Borrow a key from the Service Desk.

You may not reserve a room ahead of time, but you can check to see if any are available. If none are available, you may leave your name and be notified when a room opens up.

You will be asked to return the key after two hours, but if no one is waiting, you may extend your stay.
