What if I only want really recent information?
Answer
Most library databases will let you focus on a date range. Depending upon what database you are using, it might look a little different. Most often, though, the ways you can limit your search are displayed on the left side of the screen after you have typed in some search terms and clicked a Find or a Search button.
After that, in the following example, click on Publication Date in the left column, type in the beginning and ending years, and click Refine.
In the next example, in this database you would also go to the left column and type in a range of years, and then hit your Enter key.
In this final example, the date limit option is in the right-hand column after you have typed in your search terms and clicked Search.
Click on Publication Date and enter your date range, then click Apply.
